The Blaze is a great companion to lose weight and is Fitbit major attempt at making an everyday watch. It’s kind of a hybrid watch that has a little bit of a fitness tracker and a smartwatch at the same time.
All Fitbits have an accelerometer which is a great feature to lose weight since it will measure motion patterns to determine your steps taken, distance traveled, active minutes, and calories burned. Steps is the measure that most people find motivating (and you can use it to compete with your friends to check who is losing more calories a week), but you can also set yourself goals for the other metrics if you wish.

You can also set “silent” alarms that buzz you awake at set times, supposedly without waking your bed partner. In truth, that buzz does make a small sound, but it’s certainly more considerate than a ringing or buzzing alarm clock.
The Charge HR is a great partner when it comes to losing weight, having in mind that can track your heart rate in the most accurate way and work on your wrist as a pedometer and altimeter at the same time.
The pedometer feature is amazing when you are starting out on the weight loss journey. Sometimes all that you need to get started is the motivation to move a bit more than you currently are.
